Blackwater Ultralight Flight Park, Inc was opened in October of 1984 and has operated as a working airpark ever since. It's located on 45 acres of beautiful land just 6 miles out of Zephyrhills or 8 miles north of I-4 on State Road 39 leading to Plant City. The GPS coordinates are 28-08-13.0520N/082-08-47.3060W ( 28.13696/ -82.14647) and features a 2300 foot grass runway lined with trees. If you visit Blackwater on any Saturday or Sunday, you will find our friendly pilots working on and flying their planes as well as two instructors giving introductory flights or flight lessons.
