Flight Plan BoardFor anyone flying out of Blackwater. We have installed a flight plan board in flight operations. Please write down your name, departure time, destination, and expected return time. Also a phone number that can be called in case of an emergency. Use the eraseable markers provided. Do not use Sharpies! Upon return, please erase all information.

Buzzing the FieldsWe are getting complaints from local farmers concerning low level flying over their cow pastures. Please remember to stay 500 feet or higher unless an emergency deems otherwise. By doing so could be the difference in a helping hand when you're stuck in their field.

Hangers Are Available at BlackwaterAmong the worst enemies of your ultralight, light sport, or GA aircraft are sunshine, rain, and hail. If you’d like to get yours under a hanger, come out to Blackwater and check ours out. We have a limited number available.

Monthly CookoutOn the 1st Saturday of every month we have a park cookout. This is a great time to meet our resident pilots and enjoy a good meal. Please come and join us, the cooking begins around 11 a.m. and continues until the food runs out. The next cookout will be: Saturday, January 3rd 2009
