Welcome to BCF

Blackwater Creek Flightpark (BCF) is an ultralight and LSA friendly airport located on a 45 acre farm in northeast Hillsborough County.  The flightpark is on the east side of Paul Buchman Highway (SR39), approximately half way between I-4 and Zephyrhills.  It is surrounded on three sides by the County’s 2000 acre Cone Ranch property.

If you’re a pilot or if you’re interested in becoming one, you’re welcome to fly in or drive in for a visit at BCF.  You’ll likely find one or more of our friendly pilots working on and flying their planes, but always ready to stop and chat.  A great time to visit is on the first Saturday of each month when we sponsor a hamburger, hot dog, and baked beans cookout.

Note:   If you’re flying in for the first time, there is a large phosphate plant about 1.5 miles north of BCF.  This plant can easily be seen from 20 miles on a clear day.  Please stay above 1000' AGL until you identify the landing strip and then travel well east of the field before descending down to traffic pattern altitude (800' AGL).  Please familiarize yourself with our rules prior to arrival.
